About Kazz
Karen (Kazz) Rasmussen has almost 25 years’ experience in consultancy and classroom settings in Wellbeing, Teaching and Support roles.
A professionally accredited Special Education teacher, Kazz is committed to providing support, care, advocacy and leadership for the people we support, when, where and however it is needed.
Kazz possesses extensive experience working with children and adults with social, emotional, behavioural and psychiatric difficulties, as well as students with complex special needs and at risk.
In 2017, taking all of her learnings from over 20 years in private and public sector roles, Kazz was inspired to create her own, unique model of care – launching Kazz & Co.
Today Kazz works closely with a small, dedicated team of support workers. Kazz & Co team members are carefully matched with each person we support based on their experience, personality and suitability, to meet individual needs and maximise quality of life.
“Every day I work side-by-side with incredibly determined and inspirational people. I feel privileged to work with the people we support and their families as they achieve individual dreams and goals and live the life they choose.” – Karen Rasmussen
